To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. When I click on the “setting” button on an audio channel, I only see “legacy” channel strip settings at the bottom of window.

In the ‘help guide’, the screenshot of the window shows a whole set of Logic Pro X strip settings drums and percussion, voice, etc Anyone else having this issue? Not sure how I ‘turn those on’ or if it didn’t install correctly. Posted on Jul 17, PM. Page content loaded. Jul 18, PM in response to Gregg Sandheinrich In response to Gregg Sandheinrich.

If you hold your cursor to the left of the channel strip settings button or any plug in or insert an icon emerges which allows you to see and select available presets. For said channel strip, instrument, or effect. Make sure the library toggle is open before you try this. Jul 18, PM. Jul 19, AM in response to Gregg Sandheinrich In response to Gregg Sandheinrich. Alt is for when you want to use a channel strip setting from a different kind of track not for when you want to see the settings for the type of track you are already on. Here’s a pic of where the settings are. If you hold your cursor to the left of any settings menu where you see the words “Piano In B The entire list of factory presets will show.

btw – this is not true of mastering plug-ins on the output channel Please reply if you still can’t get this working. Jul 19, AM in response to chevaliermusic In response to chevaliermusic.

Once again, you can use the new factory channel strip settings when viewed via the library just not by clicking and holding on the channel strip pulldown button. They should be there as well but aren’t. For now , just hold your mouse next to the channel strip button without clicking then click on the library triangle that appears. Or open the library from the library button and they’ll show up on the left.

You may need to drag the scroll bar at the bottom to the left to see folders other than whatever preset folder you’re already in. I’m sure this is confusing but please don’t hesitate to ask more questions if you don’t see them. Here’s an example screenshot of the piano channelstrips. If you’d like to see other examples – let me know.
